A little about me

This is the site of Jonathan Tullett: father, iconoclast, technology and finance geek.

the author, in The Gambia

The site has gone through many iterations before arriving at what you see today. Originally starting as a place to host photographs of parties I attended (point of trivia: with the website physically hosted on the machine I used as my desktop machine at one employer), it transitioned through few domain names and concepts before ending up as a blog and launch pad for a couple of related sites. Now, you're reading this page on a virtually hosted machine sitting in a data centre in the east end of London. How things change…

Since I came online in early 1998, my interests have changed completely – whose didn't when they went from being eighteen to their early thirties? – and so has what I produce. I now use this site to write about the topics which interest me, mainly parenting (I have a son, Zachary, he's six), technology, finance, social dynamics and life philosophies; often these are interlinked. The content, as maybe you could imagine, is varied and often opinionated. Please feel able to challenge anything I write, there's few things more enjoyable than debating…

I'd write about my day job, but seriously, who gives a fuck about that? Let's talk about something more interesting.
